RDG plans to create an International Wood-carving Museum Experience, that explores the ‘Origins of Life’ expressed through, Roots representing the “origin of life’, Dragons symbolising the ‘origin of the Chinese people / culture’ and the 5 elements that tie them together (wood, air, fire, water, metal)

Situated in a forest setting the museum has 10 main internal exhibition areas, and 4 outdoor areas including a sculpture garden, tea garden, outdoor areas for the multi-use function center and an outdoor timber yard to hold all the raw trees and root bulbs before being carved.

The Museum represents a significant investment in art and culture by Ridong, which will showcases Mr Li’s personal collection of over 3,500 pieces covering a vast range of themes, many celebrating storytelling and mythologies at the core of the Chinese culture.
